Sagamihara City Cherry Blossom Festival(相模原市民桜祭り)
There is a United States army base in Sagamihara.
Turning around. Cherry Blossom Street stretches over 1.5km(1 mile). April 5th, 2014. This is the day of the 41th Sagamihara City Cherry Blossom Festival. Coincidentally, it's the same as my age and I was born here. For just a second, I'm glad. ....Wait..... The same age means this first festival was held when I was one year old. I notice I'm older...Ahahaha. Anyway, moving on... While going to the main venue, the red hand and blue hand welcome you. These works was Tarō Okamoto(岡本太郎) who is an art legend. |

This street was free of vehicle during festival. Unfortunately, it was cloudy. When I looked up, I was able to see well. But, a camera doesn't always better than human eye.
Some participants wore a doll suit, a hero suit and a fox suit. On that day only, a park space turned into a playground with Thomas.
Unfortunately, I had to do household chores and go back home.

I was back at dusk. Cherry blossoms were shining in the rays of the setting sun.
I went to the city hall and took a short nap. Why didn't I go back soon?
It's to see cherry blossoms lit up. Here are pictures. I say again. Human eye is superior to a camera.
