Yoro Valley(養老渓谷) is a popular spot for waterfalls, autumn foliage and curtains of icicle.
There are 3 hiking courses.

- Waterfall Course(Approximately 4km) - 20 minutes bus ride is necessary to get to the start point, get off at Awamata Stop(粟又の滝).
- Bungalow Village/Koubundou-Ato(弘文洞跡) Course(Approximately 7.4km)
- Mt. Daifuku(大福山)/Umegase(梅ヶ瀬) Course(Approximately 9.6km)

There are some waterfalls around Yourou Valley. Awamata Fall(粟又の滝) is the most well-known among them.

The best season for autumn foliage is Late November to Early December.

☆ Curtains of icicles
A number of icicles grow and form like a curtain in January.
But, all icicles get melted until 10AM.
It's better to stay around Yourou Valley, as access is poor from Tokyo.
I've never been there in winter.

Travelling time is approximately 2 and half hour.
