After getting a flight ticket, I walked around the corniche. Maybe, local people seldom see an East Asian person. Many people said hello to me. I replied in Arabic, "Marhaban!(!مرحبا/ Hello! ), Taksun Harr!(!طقس حار/Hot!)". From a far place, a man made a hand sign like "Get on my car! I'll show you around.". To my bad, I turned it down. I still regret. As usual, I would follow him. What made me turn it down? Because, too hot, too thirsty and Ramadan. As you know, you should not eat and drink in public, even though you're not Islam. Through this trip, I get to know most Omani people are gentle and maybe allow non-Islamic people to eat and drink. But, it's better not to do so as much as possible. So, I turned it down.
Scorching. Too hot. Killing hot. Just an hour walking made me get soaking. I couldn't help but going back to Naseem Hotel. How hot? Like sauna. Hot air from a dryer or ventilation of an air conditioner. Worse than desert. I drank plenty of water, maybe 5 - 6 liter/170 - 200 oz on that day. But, I went peeing just 2 or 3 times.
